2010 Quality Chapter Award

_______________________________________________________

To qualify as a Quality Chapter, the chapter must: comply with all requirements in the current printings of the OA Handbook, Guide for Officers and Advisers, Field Operations Guide, and ceremony guides; submit its application on time; achieve items 1 through 10 below; and achieve three of the remaining items.  Must be submitted by November 15th.

During 2010: (Check each item achieved) *Required Item

___ *1. The chapter experienced positive growth in it’s membership

___ *2. The chapter inducted a minimum of 30% of its eligible Ordeal members in the Brotherhood.

___ *3. The chapter leadership attended the Lodge Leadership Development (LLD) training.

___ *4. The chapter participated in the lodge service projects - the Conclaves and One Day of Service.

___*5. After contacting each troop and team in the district, the chapter conducted elections in every unit desiring an election. The election teams were trained and all team members were in proper uniform during each visit.

___ *6. The Chapter contacted all troops and teams in the district concerning implementation of the Order of the Arrow Troop/Team Representative program.

___ *7. The chapter leadership reviewed the lodge strategic plan to identify ways to help the lodge meet its goals for the current year.

___ *8. Working with the lodge and council camp promotions teams, the chapter helped to contact units and conducted promotional visits to a minimum of 75% of the units in the district.

___ *9. Chapter activities and events were scheduled to permit members to actively participate in an support troop, team, district and council activities, events, and programs.

___ *10. The chapter had a minimum of one youth representative eligible to vote on lodge business present at all lodge LEC meetings.

___ 11. The chapter reviewed the Lodge “Where to go Camping Guide”, and submitted any necessary updates.

___ 12. The chapter held at least 4 meetings during the year.

___ 13. The chapter promoted the Troop Representative Program to Troops in their District.

___ 14. Within the last two years at least one member of the chapter attended a National Leadership Seminar (NLS).
