Webolos Workshops - To Go
Looking for a fun, simple way for your Webelos to earn their Scientist, Engineer, Geologist, or Communicator activity pin? Have an experienced educator join your den at the location of your choice.
WHO: Your Webelos Scouts
WHAT: An opportunity for Webelos to complete all requirements for the Scientist, Engineer, Geologist, or Communicator pin.
(Scientist and Geologist include the academic belt loop.)
WHEN: You pick the day and time that’s convenient for you and your den. After school, weekends, or days when school is not in session are all possibilities. Approximately 1.5 hours with the scouts is required. 20 minutes prior to the workshop is required for set-up.
WHERE: You provide the space. The educator will come to the location of your choice. All materials will be provided.
WHY: It’s a great, simple, and fun way for your scouts to earn their activity pins. All requirements for the pin of your choice will be met
at the end of the session.
COST: $10.00 per scout
A minimum of 6 scouts is recommended. If you have a smaller group, please contact Paige and we can discuss some options.

One chaperone is required to attend. One adult per 10 scouts is recommended.

Payment is required the day of the workshop.

.50/mile will be charged for distances 25 or more miles outside of SF.

About the educator, Paige Andersen:
Paige has an Elementary Education degree from The University of Iowa. She has 5 years of experience teaching in the informal science setting. She has developed and taught Boy and Girl Scout badge workshops at science centers in Sioux Falls and Cedar Rapids, IA.
