Pheasant District Extra Miler Award

The Extra Miler Award is your chance to select one person from your unit that has gone that extra mile and to recognize them at the Pheasant District Recognition Banquet.  For this award, your unit committee is the “awards committee”.  Your unit committee nominates/selects the individual who is to receive the award.  Anyone is eligible:  a parent that goes the “extra mile”, your Cubmaster or Scoutmaster,  a Den Leader, a Committee Member, anyone who is especially good with the boys, an individual that helped your unit when it was in trouble, etc.  Only one individual may be selected per unit.  They will receive a certificate at the Pheasant District Recognition Banquet.

This award means a lot to the recipients because it is given by their peers.  It is your chance your chance to recognize adults for a job well done.  Units might want to “host” their recipient to the banquet.
